Bed bugs are more active at night and that’s when they feed themselves by piercing your skin and feeding from 3 to 10 minutes. Some people may consider it as mosquito bites, that’s why you should confirm the bed bugs presence and whereabouts immediately.

• Odor. In a building that has a great bed bug infestation there is often a telltale odor. Although bed bug dogs can detect a small number of bed bugs, a heavy infestation leaves an odor that many describe as like coriander.

• Blood. Bed bugs are known to dribble. As a result, blood spotting and blood streaks are a helpful indicator. These stains can appear red, if found quickly but are more frequently found after they have dried and turned brown. The unchanging appearance of blood stains should be inspected immediately.
